This turbolift was in use during the initial stages of construction of the DS-1 Orbital Battle Station, better known as Death Star I. It could fit at least one Human adult. During the expansion of the space station, it may have been superseded by faster lift tube models such as Infini-lift Lightspeed, Insta-Lift 2000 SE, NB200 Commercial Lift or Ultra-Lift 3000 Extreme.
