Death Star Trooper

Death Star Troopers were elite Imperial Navy Troopers stationed aboard both the first and second Death Star. They piloted the battle stations to their destinations, guarded prisoners, and also fired the superlaser aboard each,^[5] along with Imperial weapons technicians.^[3] They maintained their own officer corps, which consisted of troopers who had been trained in leadership and administration along with standard Death Star Trooper training.^[2] Individuals who served as Death Star Troopers included Corporal Ansin Thobel^[6] and Jad Bean.^[4]
