The Death Chute was a bottleneck located at the end of a crestracing course on[1] the planet[2] Galator III. It was only big enough to let one racer through at a time and resulted in a victory for the individual who made it to the tunnel first. During a race she took part in[1] around 4 BBY and 3 BBY,[3] Shara Bey was neck and neck with another racer as they approached the Death Chute. At the last second the other racer lost their nerve and backed down, which allowed Bey to make it through the Death Chute first and win the race.[1]
