The Dead Man's Legion, also referred to as the Dead Men, was a unit of criminals who were forcibly conscripted into the Republic Army during the years after the Eternal Empire's conquest of the galaxy. Provost Marshal Fideltin Rusk was in command of the unit, and they were deployed on Nar Shaddaa to hunt down the members of Black Sun who evaded the unit's campaign on Coruscant. The unit had a reputation of being dangerous and unruly but got results.[1]
