The Dead Guard was the name given to a group of Wookiees that defended Kkowir Forest on their home world of Kashyyyk, also known as the Dead Forest. Dead Guards wore gray robes.

Dead Guards appeared as non-player characters in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Sony and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
