- "My colleague Davin is also a good friend. My closest. We trained together at the Academy but he was ultimately stationed elsewhere."
- ―TK329's broadcast
A Human,[1] Davin, trained as a stormtrooper cadet at the Imperial Academy on[3] the planet[4] of Carida.[3] While training there, Davin and another cadet, later designated TK329, became good friends. They parted[2] in 4 BBY[5] after their admittance into the Stormtrooper Corps because they were stationed at different locations.[2] Three years later,[5] TK329 still considered Davin to be his closest friend, citing their relationship and history[2] in a public broadcast from the Star Destroyer Vector.[6]
Behind the scenes
Davin was mentioned in a tweet from TK329's in-universe Twitter account posted on September 20, 2009.[2] The account was created as a tie-in to the then-upcoming novel Death Troopers by Joe Schreiber.[7]
