Dave Williams is an artist who made rough concept sketches for Applause dolls as part of the Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire multimedia project.

Part of his work included some storyboard with events from the saga, in order to be fine-tuned into select poses for the would-be resin figurines. Such proposed scenes and accompanied storyboards, included Darth Vader's meeting with Prince Xizor; Luke confronting Dash on Kile about Leia in the aftermath of the Battle of Gall.

Pairings included figurines like "Spirit of Villainy" with Vader and Xizor; and Luke's and Dash's stand against Gizz's Gang.
