The Dartiss-5 Caravel was a barge-like Huttian design produced by Ubrikkian Industries.[1]
Consisting of a barge-like form, the Dartiss had a four person cockpit at the front of the ship on the top deck; connected to the cockpit was a corridor, which held thirteen cabins and two airlocks divided between the port and starboard sides.[1] Each cabin measured four by six meters, and was capable of comfortably housing four passengers - aft of the cabins at the end of the corridor was a small engineering section, as well as a turbolift that lead to the cargo deck.[1]
Used by Hutts as space Yachts, older Dartiss-5's that were in disrepair were known to fall into the hands of non-Hutts for use as transports and smuggling vessels, as was the case with the the Lost Lady.[1] Extremely modifiable, the Dartiss could be heavily modified - the Lost Lady having heavy shields, armor, turbolasers, and concussion missile launchers.[1]
Behind the scenes
Because the Lost Lady is the only known ship of this type, the stock unmodified stats of the Dartiss-5 cannot be known; hyperdrive, armament, and all other attributes may be significantly different from those listed.
