Darth Norok was a Human male Sith Lord of the reconstituted Sith Empire.

Biography

Darth Norok on Manaan

Darth Norok on Manaan

Darth Norok was active during the third Galactic War, and was a part of Imperial Logistics within the Sphere of Civil Administration.[2] Whilst leading the Sith involvement in the Invasion of Manaan, he wielded a red lightsaber with a crossguard, and wore a red suit of armor.[1] Ruthless and determined, he never lost a lightsaber duel.[2]

Behind the scenes

Darth Norok first appeared in Legacy of the Sith, the eighth Digital Expansion to the BioWare MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic. The expansion was released on February 15, 2022.

Gameplay alternatives

Norok's backstory changes during certain Imperial playthroughs:

  • If Acina is Empress then Norok's master is Darth Vowrawn. Otherwise, his master is Darth Shaar.
  • If the player killed Shaar and/or Vowrawn on Mek-Sha during the Onslaught expansion then Darth Norok will replace them on the Dark Council.

During the mission, "Decimation", the player can either agree to support Norok's plan to overcharge the Republic guns to deepen the rift between the Republic and the Selkath at the cost of the guns indiscriminately targeting Imperials as well, or just destroy the guns. For the latter option, Norok will attack both the player and Major Anri, resulting in his death.[4]

If the former option was chosen, upon their return to the Imperial base, Norok will immediately Force-choke Colonel Seeral Korrd only for Darth Krovos to intervene, as Korrd is her subordinate, not Norok's. Player can take either Korrd's side or Norok's before Krovos. If the latter option is chosen, the player can follow up by either incapacitating or executing Norok.[4]

In Game Update 7.4: Chains in the Dark, if Norok is dead, Krovos will mention that the Sphere of Production and Logistics is suffering a leadership crisis.[5]
