"That's our time. Daro, Rena, I want to see your opening stance before you leave."

Daro was a Force-sensitive human in the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] they were a Padawan[3] and attended a class on lightsaber combat led by Jedi Master Lakshay[1] on a training verandah[4] in the Jedi Temple on[1] the planet[5] Coruscant. Daro and the six other students carried out a routine using bokken sabers as Lakshay provided instruction. Just as the students' routine drew to a close, a chime sounded, and Lakshay announced the session was over.[1]

Daro and the others bowed to Lakshay, who returned the gesture and then asked Daro and the Padawan Rena to show[1] him[3] their opening stance before leaving. During the class, Daro wore a set of white and gold Jedi temple robes with a brown belt and brown boots. The Padawan's belt was trimmed with a green sash[1] that was the same color as their lightsaber.[6]

Behind the scenes

Daro appeared in "Day,"[1] the fourth episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired June 18, 2024, on Disney+.[7] It is unclear which of the six human Padawans pictured in the class is intended to be Daro.[1] The scenes in the Jedi Temple were shot at Shinfield Studios,[8] England.[9] Prior to the release of the episode, Daro was revealed in a trailer exclusively shown at Celebration Europe[10] during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase on April 7, 2023.[11]
