Darkon III was a planet[3] of the Darkon system, within the Chaama sector, in the Mid Rim[1] and Northern Dependencies regions of the galaxy.[2] In 0 BBY, the corporate criminal Linkaas requested that his employee, the smuggler Dannen Lifehold, make a stop in Darkon III, before proceeding to his destination, the planet Dohu VII. This was in order for Linkaas to gain time to organize a trap on Dohu VII for the smuggler.[3]
Behind the scenes
Darkon III was first mentioned in the short story "Breaking Free: The Adventures of Dannen Lifehold," written by Dave Marron and published in February 1994 within the first issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal.[3] The Star Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion placed the Darkon system, and therefore Darkon III, in grid square J-7.[1]
