A Dantooinian sphere-fruit was a round type of fruit that shared its name with the planet of Dantooine. It was available in the galaxy during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire.[1]

Dantooinian sphere-fruits were first mentioned in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game released by BioWare and LucasArts in 2011. If a male Jedi Knight pursues a romance with the companion character Kira Carsen, she will compare how her figure looks in a Jedi robe to a sphere-fruit in one of the messages she sends the player.[1]
