Dandrian Ring,[3] also called Dandrian's Ring, was a ring of asteroids that orbited the planet Dandrian.[2] It was located in the Belderone sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1]

Description

The asteroids of Dandrian's Ring were the remnants of a moon that struck the planet Dandrian during its formation. Alpha-Omega was the largest asteroid in the ring.[2]

History

In the aftermath of the New Sith Wars, during the Unification Campaigns of the 900s BBY, the final battle of the Belderone Contention took place at the Dandrian Ring. The Galactic Republic's Judicial Forces fought with distinction at the Battle of the Dandrian Ring, bringing the conflict to a violent end.[3]

During the Galactic Civil War, Alpha-Omega was the site of the Alpha-Omega Prison, an Imperial top-security prison.[2]
