Dalus Othona was the Provost of the University of Alderaan[1] in 22 BBY.[2] That year, the university's Dean, Halcor Raystel, caused a three-month scandal when it came to light that he was addicted to ryll spice and had offered class credits in exchange for sexual favors to two female students. Following an investigation into the matter, Othona censured and suspended Raystel from office.[1]
