Dal Kir was a Force-sensitive male Kel Dor and Jedi Consular. Only a child on Dorin when the Jedi were destroyed, Kir heard tales of their heroics and, upon realizing his connection to The Force, developed a paramount desire to become a Jedi himself and restore their legacy to the galaxy.[1] After the Battle of Yavin, he teamed up with other Force-sensitives, Markus Dorivonn and Kasuni Tamm, in search of a holocron at the Well of Shadows. He and his companions were pursued by Sor Venge, an Inquisitor during their search.[3]
Kir was lanky, black-eyed, and lacked hair. A dedicated disciple, he possessed great mental discipline, but was vulnerable to becoming obstinate. Kir wore heavy robes and wielded a blue double-bladed lightsaber, being trained in Niman, a form of lightsaber combat. The Kel Dor sported a decorated breathing apparatus and carried two stimpacks, a comlink, a glowrod, and fifty credits.[1]
