Dak Ramis was a philosopher and thinker who came to prominence some time before the formation of the Galactic Republic, over 25,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. Ramis' ideas were well known, and the philosopher was sometimes mentioned in the same vein of Plaristes.[1]

The teachings of Dak Ramis were a great influence to Darth Millennial when he was developing the Dark Force religion.[1]
