Daemen was a planet on the Rimma Trade Route in the Expansion Region.[1] Shortly before the Battle of Yavin in 1 BBY, the Camblian Order[4] from the Outer Rim[1] world of Eedoq sent 309 prospective students to be enrolled at the Clarion Scholars Academy on the planet Daemen. However, their transport ship, the Lark, was destroyed during the journey by the Imperial pilot Tars Nandy, resulting in the deaths of all 309 children.[4]
During the final years of the Imperial Period, the CorSec agent Bey ended his career, reclaimed his own ship from an impound lot on Daemen, and spent several more years as a vigilante on the Rim.[5]
