The D-4 mobile defense platform from Incom Corporation was a heavy landspeeder designed for urban combat, though it was also used as an emergency response vehicle. The D-4 could carry a squad of troopers into a battle zone, offering protection and light fire support. The vehicle was heavily shielded, and a shield projector system that could extend its shields out to create a defensive perimeter.[1]
Incom also repurposed the base D-4 speeder into the D-4s projection platform.[1]
