Cyn Jodu was a female Nagai lieutenant in the Nagai expeditionary force. Alongside her superior officer, Commander Dal Zorfenn, Jodu was tasked with securing the planet Kinooine that it might serve as the primary base of operations for the Nagai fleet's planned invasion of the galaxy in 4 ABY.[2]
Behind the scenes
Cyn Jodu first appeared in Star Wars (1977) 97, released in 1985.[1] Although initially unnamed in her first appearance, the character received the name "Cyn Jodu" in the 2009 Hyperspace-exclusive article The Forgotten War: The Nagai and the Tofs[2]—Jodu was named after Cynthia Martin and Mary Jo Duffy, the penciller and writer, respectively, of Jodu's original comic appearance.[3]
