Cuirilla was a celestial body[3] located in the Cuirilla system, a part of the Mbandamonte sector[1] in the Trailing Sectors portion of[2] the Expansion Region.[1] It shared its name with the tug model known as the VR-10 Cuirilla-Rayl Xylines-class spacetug.[4] During the Galactic Civil War, at some point by the time shortly after the Battle of Yavin, Lavek Talstin, the Devaronian freighter captain of the Rebel Alliance Action VI transport Wanderer, operated from Cuirilla—a fact that Alliance General Airen Cracken eventually noted in an entry dedicated to Talstin that was part of a datafile detailing various Rebel operatives.[3]
Behind the scenes
Cuirilla was created by Chuck Truett and was introduced in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, a 1994 West End Games sourcebook published for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Cuirilla system, and therefore the celestial body, in grid square N-15.[2]
