The urban center of Crystal City was enclosed in a dome and located on the planet Nox during the height of the Je'daii Order in the Tython system. It was situated eight hundred kilometers to the south of Greenwood Station.[1]
Circa 25,797 BBY, a family associated with the Shikaakwan Volke House used information provided by the crime lord Maxhagan to create a production base in the city. When the family refused to pay Maxhagan for his investment, he helped to fund a feud in Crystal City that ended after three thousand individuals were killed. With all of the Volke associates on Nox dead, Maxhagan viewed the debt as paid.[1]
