A cross-converter was a component used in speeders that an actuator could be connected.[1] During 3 ABY,[2] a group of Jawas sold a refurbished actuator to a technician that worked in the Bestine junkyard but when they hooked it up to a standard cross-converter it gave out.[1]

Cross-converters were first mentioned in "The Hotfixer" expert quest in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1]
