The Crimson Phoenix was a decoration awarded by the Rebel Alliance to individuals who exhibited exceptional military service during the Galactic Civil War.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Crimson Phoenix appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] With the release of Chapter 3: Smugglers and Scoundrels on September 27, 2006,[3] the Crimson Phoenix Medal of the Rebel Alliance was included as a wearable medal sold by Rebel recruiters to players of the Rebel Alliance faction who attained at least the rank of sergeant major.[1]
