Coruschal was a city world[2] located in the Coruschal system, a part of the Negs portion of the Core Worlds.[1] It was home to the prominent munitions manufacturing company Coruschal WeaponWorks until, at one point, the planet fell into civil disarray. By the time of the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, Coruschal had become a decaying urban sprawl. Various factions at war with each other fought in the planet's streets, with the fighting having cut off contact with the rest of the galaxy.[2]
Behind the scenes
Coruschal was mentioned in Bill Smith's Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, Second Edition, Revised and Expanded 1996 core rulebook of West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Coruschal system, and the planet itself, in grid square K-10.[1]
