Corran was the son of a hydroponic farmer on the planet Séléann. His father was a supporter of the Galactic Republic, even when the planetary governor declared allegiance with the Empire. Corran did not wish to leave his life on his homeworld, and he enjoyed hunting Tian-Ki with his blaster rifle.
