The ancient Corellian Treaty was an agreement[2] in 25,000 BBY[1] that established the Perlemian Trade Route and the Corellian Run hyperspace paths as the formal boundaries of the Slice region of the galaxy for the purposes of exploration and colonization. The Corellian Treaty indirectly established the borders of the Galactic Republic in its infancy, as most early Republic exploration occurred within the Slice,[2] the cradle of galactic civilization.[3] A copy of this treaty was stored in the Corellian Space Museum in Coronet City. [2]

The Corellian Treaty was mentioned in the 2003 sourcebook Coruscant and the Core Worlds, a supplement for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game by Wizards of the Coast.[2]
