The Cool Respite was a region of the Dune Sea on the planet Tatooine that was located south of Outpost Zaroshe. It was an area often frequented by the Exchange to stockpile spice. The Exchange warlord Ghar Bodya was assassinated here on behalf of Shayl Tasao, who wanted to negotiate a deal with the Sith Empire to no longer seek retribution on the Exchange due to Bodya's attacks on Imperial assets.

Cool Respite first appeared as part of the Tatooine map in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a 2011 massively multiplayer online roleplaying video game released by BioWare.
