Years prior to 1032 BBY, the^[1] Quermian Sith Lord^[3] Ayanos Bactra conquered the planet Sarrassia^[1] in the Grumani sector and sought to exploit the world's Sarrassian iron resources. Sarrassia subsequently became part of Bactra's holdings—the Bactranate—and the Sith Lord ended religious conflict on the world between the Grumani Hierophants and Spumani Crusaders. Bactra's occupation of Sarrassia denied his rival Sith Lord Odion access to Sarrassia to search for the Helm of Ieldis artifact until the Bactranate's fall^[1] in 1032 BBY.^[3]
