A concussive baton was a moderately sized baton that emitted a localized crack of sound when the concussive end was struck - compared to the bang of a slugthrower. The concussive force of the weapon was quite deadly, with strikes to the chin, ribs, and other vital areas being lethal, even against armored surfaces.[1]
Concussive batons were the bounty hunter Mercurial Swift's signature weapon, who owned a pair that had concussive and electrical stun functions.[1]
