- "I am not the first Ozzel to rise within the naval ranks. Perhaps you have read of […] Enos Ozzel who pushed the Cold Coil back into the Unknown Regions at the dawn of the Early Manderon Period."
- ―Kendal Ozzel, Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide
The Cold Coil was an entity that originated in the Unknown Regions. At the start of the early Manderon Period,[1] which lasted between 7000 BBY and 5000 BBY,[2] Enos Ozzel, a naval officer and ancestor of Imperial[1] Admiral[3] Kendal Ozzel, pushed the Cold Coil back into the Unknown Regions, a fact that Kendal, holding the rank of captain at the time, noted in the Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide, an Imperial Military manual published[1] by 0 BBY.[4]
Behind the scenes
The Cold Coil was mentioned in Daniel Wallace's 2014 reference book Star Wars: Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide.[1]
