Coir Cion

Coir Cion was a Devaronian criminal who lived during the Republic Era. He operated out of and ran a territory on the moon of Dawk.[2] Between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY,[1] while in the Coruscant Underworld, Cion witnessed a deal between a pirate he knew and a Chagrian, whom the Devaronian followed to the Senate District, where the Chagrian met with Senator Sheev Palpatine. The fugitive Cion hoped to use his information on Palpatine's dealings to blackmail the senator into pardoning him. However, Cion was unaware that Palpatine was truly the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, who dispatched his Sith apprentice, Darth Maul, to kill him.[2]
