In the military of the First Order, a Code Red was indicative a security breach on its ships, which necessitated a lockdown.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] the Resistance operatives Kazuda Xiono and Jarek Yeager ran from pursuing stormtroopers while aboard the First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer[1] Thunderer.[3] As the pair sprinted further away, Agent Tierny demanded via comlink that all positions should be locked down to prevent their escape, calling a Code Red. A security worker responded affirmatively to her request.[1]

Code Red first appeared in part two of the two-part episode "The Escape,"[1] the finale of the second season of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance, which aired on January 26, 2020.[4]
