Clone regimental commander, or simply regimental commander, was the third highest military rank that a clone trooper commander could obtain in the Galactic Republic's Grand Army. Placed in charge of regiments of clone troopers alongside a Jedi Commander, clone regimental commanders were distinguished by the yellow markings on their Phase I clone trooper armor towards the beginning of the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. According to the Grand Army's Order of Battle, clone regimental commanders were subordinate to senior clone commanders, while clone battalion commanders were subordinate to regimental commanders.[1] CRC-09/571 was a clone regimental commander.[2]
