The banner of the Mandalorian Clan Cadera was a symbol guarded by Mandalore the Avenger's faction. In 3626 BBY,[3] the Hidden Chain attacked Mandalore the Avenger's flagship, the Spirit of Vengeance II and stole the banner.[1] Prior to her duel against Mandalore on Ruhnuk, Field Marshal Heta Kol set the Cadera banner ablaze in full view of her followers as a statement against the Mandalorians bowing to any galactic power.[4]

Gameplay alternatives

If Torian Cadera survived the Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion, Chapter VIII: The End Times, he will have special cutscenes involving the Cadera banner. In the companion mission, "What Remains of Clan Cadera", Torian collected the remains of the Cadera banner, believing it wasn't right that Heta Kol had the last word on it. While he agrees that the banner is a symbol of shame and betrayal, he found it audacious that she burned it. He decides to keep the remains as a reminder of his father, his clan and his sense of a right and wrong, and for future consideration if he required peace of mind.[5]
