A civilian robe was worn by civilian[1] allies[2] of the Jedi Order on field missions during the High Republic Era.[1]
Design
The civilian robe was a set of fatigues[3] that consisted of a frumpy[4] quilted poncho with a kangaroo pocket[3] over a long-sleeved shirt and trousers.[1]
History
In 132 BBY,[5] the Tynnan tracker Bazil and the human ex-Padawan Verosha Aniseya both donned civilian robes when accompanying a Jedi team on a mission to the planet Khofar. Bazil wore his fatigues with a helmet and a visor that could drop down to cover his eyes, while Verosha wore her own belt over the poncho with a pouch to carry her droid Pip, as well as wearing her own backpack.[1] Verosha's twin sister Mae-ho Aniseya would later steal her robe in order to disguise as her.[6]
Behind the scenes
The civilian robe first appeared in "Day," the fourth episode of the Disney+ series Star Wars: The Acolyte.[1]
