A civil war took place on the planet Ostega in the Grohl sector in the years before the Clone Wars. The conflict was resolved by the intervention of the Grohl Sector Defense Force.
History
In the years before the Invasion of Naboo, the Separatist Crisis, and the Clone Wars, the Grohl Sector Defense Force was the local military force in the Grohl sector of the Outer Rim Territories. One of their notable actions at that time involved the destruction of pirate bases which preyed on shipping in the rimward portion of the sector. Kligson, an officer in the defense force, was a veteran of this conflict.[1]
During the same time, the planet Ostega was undergoing a civil war. Elements of the Grohl Sector Defense Force, Kligson among them, intervened. This intervention ended the war.[1]
Aftermath
The Grohl Sector Defense Force, including Major Kligson, went on to act against the Trade Federation to repel their invasion of Sucharme.[1]
