The Circling of the First of the Red was a Quesoth subcaste of the Circling of the Red caste based in[1] the Unknown Regions[2] planet Quethold's Red City that advised the city's ruler, the Queen of the Red. The Quesoth Borosiv was a member of the Circling of the First and was killed by the reigning Queen of the Red's ally, the Storm-hair warlord Nuso Esva,[1] in 8 ABY.[3]

The Circling of the First of the Red appeared in the novella Crisis of Faith, written by Timothy Zahn and published in 2011 as part of the 20th Anniversary Edition of Zahn's 1991 novel Heir to the Empire.[1]
