Chun's Theory of Reductional Infinity was a theory formulated by an individual called Chun.[1] In 20 BBY,[2] the theory had yet to be solved. Protocol droid I-5YQ—not occupied with his work at the Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7 on the planet Drongar—thought about using his free cognitive module in solving the theory.[1]

Behind the scenes

The theory was first mentioned in MedStar I: Battle Surgeons, the first novel of the MedStar Duology. Published in 2004, Battle Surgeons was written by Steve Perry and Michael Reaves.[1]
