The Chiss merchant ship was a class of merchant starship used by the Unknown Regions Chiss Ascendancy nation.[1] By 36 BBY,[2] the Pathfinder navigator Qilori had served as the navigator for a number of Chiss merchant ships.[1] In that year,[2] he served as the navigator for a Chiss diplomatic cruiser, and privately remarked that the bridge was identical to every Chiss merchant ship he had navigated.[1]
Behind the scenes
Chiss merchant ships were mentioned in flashbacks in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
