The chief of engineering, or head of engineering, was a title held by the individual who led the engineering teams in the 61st Mobile Infantry of the Rebel Alliance,[1] and eventually the New Republic.[2] The engineering droid M2-M5 and later the engineer Vifra held the title.[1]
