Chief Technician was a title held by individuals who were in command of teams of technicians.^[1] Some Chief Technicians specialized in the field of starfighter and vehicle repair,^[2] while other Chief Technicians were employed in spaceport maintenance.^[1]

Known Chief Technicians

• Ablee Bansak was a Chief Technician at Estaria Central Starport specializing in hangar operations. He commanded a team of ten other technicians.^[1]
• Viera Cheran was the Chief Technician of Rogue Squadron until she sabotaged Wedge Antilles' R2-series astromech droid in order to attempt to kill Luke Skywalker.^[2]
