Cheraama was a queen who served as the ruler of Alun and belonged to its royal family. When she ascended the throne during the Imperial Era, she was considered young and inexperienced, and genuinely wanted to serve her people but her reforms backfired. With her failed attempts at reforming trade, many in the population began to have the sentiment that a governor of the Galactic Empire would better serve their needs. This sentiment alarmed Cheraama's advisor, Faleer Ayast, as he questioned how that would affect the planet's freedoms.[1]
