Charlie and the Droid Factory

Charlie and the Droid Factory was a famous book, being considered a classic of galactic literature. It told the story of a young Jawa known as Charlie who wins the chance of touring a droid factory, as well as operating it later on. The story also involved an object known as The Golden Widget.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The story is a reference to the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. The novel features a poor but kindhearted boy named Charlie, finding a golden ticket in a bar of candy. This allows him to take part in the tour of the fantastic candy factory of eccentric candy maker Willy Wonka, and eventually operates it.
