A power tip was a weapon component installed on force pikes. The tip emitted thousands of microscopic vibrations per second when powered by an ultrasonic vibration generator. The ultrasonic charge was transmitted up the pike through conductive circuits and allowed the blade to cut through stone, metal, flesh, and bone.[1]
