A strangely charged alloy could be found on one of the Outer Rim Territories' Relik moons. During the High Republic Era, the astromech droid C-9 improvised itself a new arm out of the alloy which it called its "Jedi hat" due to the arm's sensitivity to electromagnetic fields.[1]
