The Chaos Triangle was a location.[1] In 8 ABY,[2] after the death of the Storm-hair warlord Nuso Esva during a battle between his forces and the Empire of the Hand on the[1] Unknown Regions[3] planet Quethold, Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn ordered Senior Captain Voss Parck to travel with the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Admonitor to the Chaos Triangle, where Parck would begin cleaning up what the Grand Admiral referred to as Esva's "legacy."[1]
Behind the scenes
The Chaos Triangle was mentioned in the novella Crisis of Faith, written by Timothy Zahn and published in 2011 as part of the 20th Anniversary Edition of the 1991 novel Heir to the Empire.[1]
