"You must go to the Chamber of Banishment in which she is imprisoned and defeat her. To enter that chamber, according to this scroll, you will need the Nightsister Key of Exile."
Rohak, to a spacer[2]

The Chamber of Banishment was a cavernous chamber located in the deepest part of the Rancor Cave near the Nightsister Stronghold operated by the Nightsister clan of Dathomir Witches, on the planet Dathomir.

History

"The energy surging through the headdress is a signal to her followers. It means that Axkva Min has discovered a way to free herself from her banishment, and she is contacting her followers so that they will assist in her escape. Axkva Min is a dangerous being that will threaten the entire planet...possibly even the entire galaxy. We must help stop her."
―Rohak, to a spacer[2]

Sometime during the Imperial Era, the Nightsister Axkva Min was imprisoned in the chamber by fellow Nightsisters due to her apt to drain the life from her pupils in order to increase her own power.[2][3] There, Min and her most loyal followers were trapped inside large crystals. The cave was guarded by Nightsisters and required the Key of Exile to be opened.[1]

In 1 ABY,[4] Axkva Min discovered a way to free herself from her banishment and contacted her followers to assist her escape. The situation was soon discovered by Rohak, the Aurilia town elder, and a group of spacers. The spacers therefore explored Dathomir to gather four shards that they fused together to form the Key of Exile.[2] The group of spacers later enter the Chamber of Banishment where they defeated Min's followers: Nandina and Gorvo, Lelli Hi, Kimaru and Suin Chalo. They eventually killed Axkva Min herself during an epic fight.[1]

  4. The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
