An individual served as the security chief at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in Mos Eisley, Tatooine. He or she monitored conversations inside the cantina's main room from a secret alcove. The security chief was at work when local farm boy Luke Skywalker and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived looking for a pilot to bring them to the planet Alderaan^[1] in the year 0 BBY.^[2]
