Chaf'pri'uhme, core name Afpriuh, was a Chiss male who held the rank of Senior Commander in the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet. He served aboard the heavy cruiser Springhawk under Senior Captain Thrawn as weapons officer.[1]
Afpriuh played a pivotal role in destroying the fake Agbui nyix mine on Hoxim during the Hoxim incident, thus preventing a scheme to cause a civil war among the Chiss from coming to fruition. Guided by sky-walker Che'ri's powers of Third Sight, Afpriuh aimed the weapons of the Springhawk in such a way to destroy shoot the Saltbarrel at the "mine" and destroy it and make it look accidental. As a result, the rival Great Families that sought to seize the supposed nyix mine could not fight over it.[1]
