Caviness Thorn was a humanoid bounty hunter who led the Caviness Thorn crew.[2] Around 5 BBY,[3] Thorn took a bounty on the smuggler Han Solo and attempted to kill the smuggler on the[2] planet[4] Abregado-Rae but was thwarted by Solo's friend, the cyborg bounty hunter Beilert Valance.[2]
